About the Artist and her Work

As an innate artist, Mica creates for the sake of the craft. She finds satisfaction in the uniqueness of each individual piece. She is amazed again and again by what she has created, and she is inspired each time to create something new, with no one piece ever quite the same as the next or the last. She delights in experimenting with more and more ideas and various media. She has devoted much of her spare time to developing her skills in the art of creating and handcrafting fashion accessories.

A versatile designer of wearable art, Mica is the talented creator of an exquisite line of fashion accessories to include jewelry, handbags, and crochet clothing for adult and children. Mica’s creations are interesting, alluring and diverse. Mica has even explored the creation of beauty product such as soaps and skin beautifying lotions. Mica handcrafts her jewelry with care. For each piece finding she finds just the right shape, color, length, and tone to maximize the brilliant potential found within each gemstone. Mica has brought together nature’s gifts, and Mica’s own designs and talent to fashion true conversation pieces. A combination of circumstances, true creative talent, and artistry have brought us the exquisite jewelry and fashion accessories known as Mica’s Designs.

A passionate artist and also a consumed professional, Mica is married and the mother of three, her most demanding role, yet. As a scholar practitioner she has a earned Doctorate degree in management and a Master’s degree in information systems management. She continually pursues novel ideas in both her professional fields and her creative passions. Words cannot define her masterpieces each one of her creations is an art piece to be treasured.

Like her creativity, Mica’s generosity to those in needs is boundless and unconditional. She has donated many of her creations to support worthwhile causes. To date, Mica has donated her time, talent and nearly 20% of her profits to benefit education. In the future, Mica contemplates that she will use her talent to continue to support education, cancer research, and feed the hungry children. Her goal: to make this world a little better than she found it.
